Waikerie Swimming Pool Update - Further Week Delay in Opening

14 November 2017
Our new pool filter has been connected to the plumbing, electrics and dosing equipment and we have begun to fill the pool with water. Because the filter is specialized we arranged for the manufacturer to send a technical specialist to Waikerie to commission it. Unfortunately the manufacturer’s specialist cannot be here until Thursday this week, which does not leave us sufficient time to finish filling of the pool, treat the water and attend to anything that may need adjusting before the opening time of Saturday 18th November. Until the filter is commissioned, we can not completely fill the pool. We have therefore had to delay the opening for an additional week until Saturday 25 November 2017 and will extend the swimming season by an additional 3 weeks. We sincerely apologize for the additional delay but want to make sure everything is spot on before we open. We thank you for your continued patience. We would also like to acknowledge the fantastic trades we have in Waikerie who have greatly assisted us thus far. Thanks to Hansen Electric, Agri-Tech, Total Eden, Waikerie Custom Builders and Andrew Schutz. Special mention also to the Cadell Training Centre crew and our staff for the effort to date.
