A - Z Recycling Guide - 3 Bin System

Recyclables such as hardwaste steel, cardboard, paper, steel cans or glass can be disposed of at any of Council's refuse centres. These items must be separated.

Recycling Practices at Loxton Rubbish Dump

Green Waste is transferred to the Woodchipper to make bark chips.
Timber is transferred to the stockpile and is sold as firewood.
Bottles (sorted by colour), Cans and Plastic Bottles are transferred to Loxton Iceworks & Recycling Pty Ltd.
Cardboard is transferred to Loxton Icewords & Recycling Pty Ltd.
Steel drums are transferred to the approved drumMUSTER recycler.
Batteries are transferred to the steel dealer.
Hardwaste steel is collected by Cape Devine.

Council encourages all residents to deliver recyclables to local recyclers before taking to the dump
