Loxton is an RV Friendly Town welcoming all self-contained recreational vehicles.
Daytime parking is provided in the medium strip along Bookpurnong Tce, with public toilets in East Tce and shopping facilities nearby.
RV public dump point and non-potable water is provided on the riverfront opposite the Loxton Lions Park Reserve, Grant Schubert Drive and on AW Traeger Drive in Loxton
Overnight and longer term RV parking for fully self contained vehicles is available at the Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park where a dedicated RV precinct is provided for self contained vehicles for $9 per night. The Kingston on Murray Caravan Park offers off-peak riverfront sites for $12.50 per night/2 people. The Moorook Riverfront Reserve is $10.50 per night, or $17 with power (self registration on arrival, 10 days maximum stay). The Loxton Golf Club offers powered sites (fee applies) with access to shower and toilet facilities and are pet friendly.
The Riverland’s climate provides the perfect opportunity to relax, set up camp alongside the river and dangle a line. Loxton and the surrounding area has an abundance of camping and fishing spots and Katarapko Reserve (Murray River National Park), Loch Luna Reserve and Moorook Game Reserve are National Parks you may like to consider (National Park camping fee applies). Access to free riverside camping near tall, shady river gums is available at Thiele’s Sandbar and Rilli Reserve, but please note these are dry weather tracks (21 days maximum stay).

Waikerie welcomes all self-contained RV travellers.
Daytime parking is provided in Civic Avenue. Shopping facilities are nearby and public toilets are located in MCoy Street and the Waikerie Riverfront.
RV public dump point and potable water is provided at RV parking site on Civic Avenue.
Overnight and longer term RV parking for fully self contained vehicles is available at the Waikerie Caravan Park for $28 per night, including power.

Waikerie and the surrounding area has an abundance of camping and fishing spots you may wish to consider such as Lowbank, Holder Bend (maximum of 7 day stay), Maize Island ( National Park - dogs are not permitted), Ramco Point and Hogwash Bend
