NDIS

National Disability Insurance Scheme

NDIS

The NDIS is a way of delivering services and support for people with permanent disability in Australia.

Children and young people in our state have been eligible to enter the NDIS since July 2013. Other South Australian’s aged 18-64 will be eligible for this scheme from 1 July 2017, with transitions complete by the end of 2018.

To support the rollout of the NDIS in South Australia, the South Australian Government has developed a campaign to assist people to better prepare for the NDIS. The campaign will educate people about the NDIS and its benefits to South Australians with a disability.

Please check Councils latest news items for details on any NDIS campaign activities happening accross the Council region.
