Tech Savvy Seniors Program

About the Tech Savvy Seniors Program

The new ‘Tech Savvy Seniors South Australia’ pilot program is being implemented throughout the Riverland from August 2017 to January 2018. This 6 month pilot program is a partnership between the Libraries Board of SA, the Office for the Ageing and Telstra and aims to deliver free technology training to seniors from the five Riverland Public Libraries.

The program aims to encourage more seniors to embrace technology and improve their literacy skills. By participating in the program, it is expected that seniors will be assisted to develop the confidence and skills necessary to actively participate in the digital community and increase their level of participation.
