Expression of Interest

Photography Submissions for Online Exhibition

The District Council of Loxton Waikerie is seeking expressions of interest from local photographers and community members to participate in an upcoming online exhibition showcasing iconic locations on the Murray River. We are looking for photographs that capture the beauty of the Murray River before and during the 2022/23 floods, and now, featuring not just the scenery, but also the wildlife that call the river home.

This is a great opportunity for local photographers and community members to showcase their talents and contribute to a project that celebrates the natural beauty of the Murray River. We encourage all interested parties to submit their photographs for consideration.

Selected photographs will be showcased in an online exhibition that will be accessible to the public. The exhibition aims to showcase the resilience of the Murray River and its surrounding communities during times of significant weather events, and to celebrate the natural beauty of the area.

Submission requirements

  • Photographs must be of high quality and resolution.
  • Submissions must be made via online file share https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/lwdc
  • Each file must be labelled with the photographer's name, and the location and date of the image.
  • In making your submission, you give permission for Council to use your files and promote them online.
